Steve Perez
Chief Executive Officer, President and Founder
Serving as Chief Executive Officer and President of 5C Data Centers, Steve Perez is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the company, overseeing day-to-day operations, and leading initiatives in business development. Having founded the company with a vision to revolutionize the data center industry, he also drives the technology roadmap, ensures optimum customer satisfaction, and spearheads partnerships with industry leaders. His focus on innovation and customer-centric solutions continues to maintain 5C Data Centers' position at the forefront of the industry.
Prior to starting 5C Data Centers, Perez was a founding member of Hypertec DCS (Data Center Services) and served as Vice President of Sales. There he was responsible for global sales strategy and execution and successfully completed the sale and implementation of the largest hyperscale data center projects in Canada. Before Hypertec, Perez served as Director of Sales for Bell Canada’s Business Markets where he significantly contributed to the growth of Bell’s information and communication technology solutions portfolio.
Perez received a bachelor’s degree in Arts & Science from McGill University and post-graduate certificates in technology.

Patrick Bensabat
Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder
Serving as Chief Technology Officer for 5C Data Centers, Patrick is responsible for the company's global engineering strategy, including design, development, and construction. Patrick's focus is on reducing the company's time to market, improving project build costs, increasing engineering and construction quality, and providing operational excellence and sustainable solutions for his customers.
With a proven track record in the data center industry worldwide, Patrick Bensabat has established himself as a trusted authority in the field for over a decade. Prior to co-founding 5C Data Centers, Patrick held the position of Global Expansion Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and contributed significantly to the company's expansion. Prior to AWS, Patrick's was one of the founding members of Hypertec DCS, acting in various roles throughout his tenure including Lead Design Engineer and Principal Solutions Engineer.
Patrick holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from McGill University and is a licensed engineer in Quebec and Ontario. Patrick was among Canada's earliest Accredited Tier Designers (ATD) by the Uptime Institute and is a LEED BD+C accredited professional.
Anthony Hill
Chief Financial Officer
Serving as Chief Financial Officer, Anthony is responsible for financial planning and forecasting, accounting, and financial reporting with a focus on managing risk and cash flow.
Prior to joining 5C Data Centers, Anthony served as Chief Financial Officer of Astrobotic Technology Inc., one of 4 NASA Commercial Lunar Service Providers (“CLPS”) with more than $0.5 billion in active contracts, from April 2022 to June 2024. He was the Vice President and Controller of Tristate Capital Holdings (NASDAQ: TSC) from 2019 to 2022. Anthony was the Assistant Corporate Controller of Coherent Inc (NYSE: COHR), from 2014 to 2019. Prior to Coherent, Anthony worked in the Core Assurance practice at PwC.
Anthony received a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Pennsylvania.
